Im back!

I relise I have been quiet of late. I have still be working as hard as ever, just now im working round a 1 year old! But I will try harder to update this more often.

This Is a baby shoot I done a couple of weeks ago with Emma and her gorgeous son. His Granny hired me to capture this lovely wee boys first weeks of life. I was advised he was a very chilled baby and they werent wrong! Such a delight.

Mr & mrs Mcknight

Maxine & Chris celebrated their nuptials in the lovely surrounding of Western house In Ayr. This was the first time I had worked here. With the sun shining the lovely couple said 'I Do' in the surrounding gardens. A lovely day had by all.

Rachel & Scott Paisley Town Hall

A sample of Rachel and Scott who got married at Paisley Town Hall. Being from Paisley This venue was exciting and i was looking forward to being part of their day. Bride and Groom had a fantastic day! And having Paisley Abbey as a backdrop it completed a very special day for such an amazing couple

Katie & Aaron Lynnhurst Hotel

The Manorview hotels are some of my favorite venues to shoot a wedding. The light is always great and they create a really night atmosphere for their guests. I know that a wedding in any of the manorview hotels will be a good day. And Katie and Aarons day was no exception. The sun was shining and the drinks were flowing.  And its always nice to be so close to home.

Im Back! :-)

Well after taking some time to have my baby and enjoy some family time,  Ive been looking back at all the weddings I done last year that ididn’t get the chance to share. As you are aware I done most of my weddings last year while I was pregnant so when I wasn’t doing a wedding or editing I was trying to sleep or just stop letting morning sickness take over my days! Lol I have to admit towards the end of my pregnancy, work was a struggle. But I still loved being part of my client’s special days even if my belly and back were strapped up like a straight jacket. But I can say that I got through my 80+ weddings and now that I have time to look through them I can relive the days with happiness and excitement again. This is the feelings that I try and provide my clients with. Images that record their day. All the ups and downs a wedding day can bring. From the tears at the ceremony to the laughs at the best man’s speech. No 2 wedding days are the same. And I feel its important to showcase that. The personal, individuality and private moments of the day. Moments that carry a lifetime of memories.

So over the next wee while I will be sharing some highlights of my season last year and look forward to showcasing the highlights from this years weddings also.

Sometimes a little break reminds you of how much you love your job. And how lucky I am to do it.

Gillian & Kevin Ingliston Country Club

As anyone who knows me will know I absolutely LOVE Ingliston Country Club. It was even in the running as my venue for my own wedding. SO when I met Gillian and Kevin who were getting married not only in this lovely venue but also they were getting married on hogmanay..I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember and Gillain and Kevins wedding lived up to every hope.

After a romantic first dance and emotional dad and daughter dance I Joined my family In Palominos and enjoyed bringing the bells in with a few cocktails and food. After a very busy 2016 it was the perfect way to bring in the new year.
